RYC UNIT SALES PROCESS

  1. Purchaser and Seller complete respective Seller and Purchaser Applications and return them to the Club. The applications can be mailed to the Club, handdelivered, or emailed as pdfs to marketplace@rowaytonyachtclub.com.
  2. RYC bookkeeper provides current figures on assessments, common charges, etc. which may be owed by the Seller to the Club and the Club prepares a Resale Certificate which details the transaction including any amounts owed to the Club which will be deducted from the net proceeds to the Seller. The Resale Certificate is also used to waive the Club’s right of first refusal on each sale.
  3. The Club sends the Purchaser and Seller applications and the Resale Certificate to the Club’s attorney, R. Richard Roina, Esq.
  4. Club attorney prepares the sale documents and arranges for a closing.
